Albert is the founder and CEO of SmartBarrel. He spent over 10 years in construction - co-founding a glazing factory, working on projects across North America, and learning firsthand why workforce tracking with clipboards doesn't cut it. After managing crews with clipboards and watching even the most experienced superintendents struggle with accurately tracking hourly labor, he got fed up with time theft and inefficiency. Albert tried every timekeeping solution on the market, from software to RFID tags to iris scanning. When he couldn't find a solution that actually worked, he taught himself coding and electronics and built SmartBarrel. Today, he's obsessed with giving contractors absolute clarity on their labor hours and productivity. Because when you've spent a decade in the field dealing with the same BS, you don't stop until the problem's actually solved.
